Marginalized Communities

The Marginalized communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are those excluded from mainstream social, economic, educational, and cultural life. In KP, marginalized populations include, but are not limited to, groups excluded due to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, language, and/or immigration status. As marginalisation occurs due to unequal power relationships between social groups, the government is making efforts to reduce this social disparity with the help of multiple organizations.
